I started horse riding at a young age, thanks to my family's love for horses. My parents encouraged me to take lessons, and I instantly fell in love with the sport.

There are so many incredible moments, but winning the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing in 2003 is a memory I'll cherish forever. It was a dream come true!

Preparation is key, both physically and mentally. I spend a lot of time training with my horses, focusing on their fitness and building a strong partnership. I also work on visualizing the course and mentally preparing myself for the challenges ahead.

Each horse I've had the privilege of riding has played a significant role in my journey. However, Primmore's Pride holds a special place in my heart. He helped me achieve my first major victory at the Badminton Horse Trials in 2003.

Never give up on your dreams and be willing to put in the hard work. Surround yourself with knowledgeable mentors, seek continuous learning opportunities, and always prioritize the welfare of your horses.

Challenging times are inevitable in any career. To stay motivated, I remind myself of my passion for horses and my desire to constantly improve. I also draw inspiration from fellow riders and horse enthusiasts who have overcome obstacles on their own journeys.

Patience is a virtue when it comes to working with horses. It's important to have a calm and consistent approach, allowing trust and understanding to develop between you and your horse.

It can be challenging, but balancing personal life with my career is essential. I have a supportive network of family and friends who understand the demands of my profession. Time management, prioritization, and effective communication are key in maintaining a healthy balance.

I am continually setting new goals for myself, both in terms of performance and horsemanship. I aspire to keep challenging myself by competing in prestigious events and helping young riders on their own journeys through coaching and mentorship.

I find immense joy in the connection I share with horses and the incredible feeling of accomplishment that comes with achieving success in eventing. The desire to constantly improve, contribute to the sport, and inspire others keeps me motivated.
